Gas Fee
The gas fee is based on the cost of one gallon of gas and the vehicle mileage. It is assumed that the vehicle gets 20 miles per gallon of gas. and that there are 3 passengers (plus driver) in the vehicle.

On 04/14/2011, the Board set the cost of one gallon of gas to be $4.00. Therefore the gas fee for events is $1.00 per 15 total miles ($4 / 20 miles = $1 / 5 miles; therefore, 3 passengers each pay $1.00 per 15 miles of travel).

All fees are in dollar increments.

Example: 94 miles is calculated as follows: 94 / 15 = $6.26, rounded down to $6.00. 100 miles is: 100 / 15 = $6.66, rounded up to $7.00; 110 miles is: 110 / 15 = $7.33, rounded down to $7.00. These fees are effective for events starting in May 2011.
