May is the Prelude to Summer

We were expecting March rain and snow to bring April Flowers and Sun. It did that, but grudgingly. Remember that great weekend of 75-80 degrees, followed by the next weekend of snow? Ain’t it great? A good reminder that when taking in the outdoors, dress in layers for changing weather. We have THREE kayak trips scheduled, a bunch of hikes (some easy, some hard), bike rides (including our new weekly Tuesday night rides), and the Thursday night walks / hikes start May 29 in the St. Johns area. Take a look at the Calendar and mark at least one day to get out and about. Oh, if you want to do some snow activities, I think we could still do that too! Event Leaders Wanted! Leading is easy and just requires your commitment of time, and we’ll walk you though the rest. Pride weekend is coming up June 14 and 15. We’ll have a booth for the two days at the Festival grounds.
